We all love Microsoft. After all they love giving us nice little conveniences and then replacing them with a more complex and usually extremely confusing methods of doing the same things. The perfect example is when Microsoft took away the F8 Boot Menu option in Windows 8 and Windows 10. Truth is though that Microsoft didn’t actually take it away in Windows 8 and above. They just disabled it by default.
Whether you have ever needed safe mode or not it is a very good idea to go ahead and re-enable the “Legacy” F8 Boot Menu Option in Windows 8 or Windows 10 so that it is available if you ever do need it. The last thing you need is to be sitting there with a computer that won’t start and be wishing you had an easier way to get to safe mode so you could fix it.
